Does it cost anything to join Caregogi?
A:

No, it is completely free to join Caregogi as a caregiver. Simply complete your profile, and once you are reviewed by our team you will be visible in client searches.

Will I Receive The Same Opportunities For Work If I Do Not Have a Background Check?
A:

Caregogi will promote you to clients in need of senior care equally whether or not you have a criminal background check.

What is the benefit of providing care through Caregogi?
A:

When compared to a typical caregiving agency, Caregogi offers tremendous benefits to caregivers. The founders of Caregogi recognize that caregivers deserve to be paid fairly for the compassionate work they do. With Caregogi you are able to set your own rates, so you can make more than you would be able to through an agency. You also get to choose how far you travel, and which clients you accept. The control is completely in your hands.

How much can I make as a Caregogi caregiver?
A:

What you make is up to you! We want you to be in complete control of your career. On average, caregivers on our site charge between $12 – $18/HR. Because the payment is going directly to you, you should expect to make more than you would at a traditional agency. When you sign up, you can utilize our recommended caregiver rate chart that will help you determine what the standard rate is within your state. You can always charge more or less than the recommendation based on your skill level and experience.

How to I apply to be a caregiver through Caregogi?
A:

Signing up to be a caregiver requires you only to complete a brief sign up questionnaire so that our system can match your profile to those of potential clients. The sign up process takes approximately 5 minutes and will ask you questions regarding your experience and availability. All caregiver profiles go through manual review from our staff.

What is the profile review process for caregivers?
A:

Our profile review process has two steps:

  1. General profile review
  2. Photo review

In the first two steps, we are simply looking for professionalism in order to increase the chances of your profile receiving a job offer. We ensure that proper grammar and appropriate language is being used in your bio before approving it. In the photo review, we look to make sure that you are the only one in the photo, that the picture is taken from the shoulders up, and that the photo fits our sizing standards.

How long does the review process take?
A:

The profile and photo review process is completed in batches 3 times a day. The length of the review process can vary, but know that we do our very best to get your profile approved as quickly as possible. Typically users will have their profile reviewed within 24 hours of applying to be listed on Caregogi.

Can I edit my profile after I sign up?
A:

Yes, you are able to to edit it by going to the schedule Dashboard tab. There you can edit whatever you need by clicking the Edit Profile button on the right side of the My Profile block.

How long will it take to get a job offer?
A:

The length of time it takes for you to receive a job offer will depend on the demand for care in your coverage area. Our caregivers typically receive job offers within their first month of being on the site.

Is there anything I can do to get hired faster?
A:

By optimizing your profile, you can increase the likelihood that you will receive a high match percentage with those seeking care. One of the best things you can do is keep your schedule availability open and accurate. Additionally, keeping your coverage area broad will increase the amount of clients who see you, as you will not be displayed to people outside your travel radius.  Additionally, making a good first impression is important, so we recommend having a profile photo and biography that emphasize your professionalism.

Because of this, we partner with local businesses.Caregogi offers advertisement to businesses who meet our standards and pass our vendor vetting process.  If you believe you have a service that could be of benefit to our users please apply to be a partner.

What does your vetting process entail?
A:

Because we want to ensure the businesses we list on our site are legitimate we have a three step vetting process.

  1. Ensure that your business has A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau
  2. Contact you regarding the service you provide
  3. Interview business colleagues and clients regarding the quality of service you provide

If your business meets the Caregogi standard you will be offered a contract to be listed on our site.

What information can Caregogi users see?
A:

As a partner, you are able to upload photos and videos to demonstrate your product or feature a virtual tour of your facility. Additionally, you can list your pricing, a phone number, and a call to action button. This call to action button is editable and can be linked to a homepage or a specific landing page. The clicks are traceable and can be relayed to you at your request.

What are the benefits of using Caregogi?
A:

Caregogi simplifies the senior care process. When you utilize our dashboard, you will have access to all that you need to care for your loved one at home. Additionally, you will save 50% on average as compared to franchise agencies. With Caregogi, you can control all aspects of your loved one’s care all from one convenient online portal.

How do I find a caregiver?
A:

Finding a caregiver is simple with Caregogi. When you sign up you will be taken through a questionnaire that will familiarize our system with the specific needs of your loved one. Once you have created an account you will be able to search for caregivers in the “Browse Caregivers” section of your dashboard.

Each of these caregivers that you see is able to come out to your location, and they are automatically listed in order of their matching potential with your loved one. Once you find someone you believe will be a good fit, click the messaging icon to have a chat conversation with them and begin the interview process.

What is the vetting process for caregivers?
A:

Every caregiver listed on our site needs to go through our vetting process to be displayed in your search. Each caregiver has to have their photo and biography manually approved by a member of the Caregogi staff.  Ultimately the final hiring decision is up to you, as you are assuming the role of employer, but we do our best to give you a pool of quality candidates.

Can you give me more details about the criminal background check?
A:

Our criminal background process is completed by a third party, J.D. Palatine. Their team of researchers ensure that each background check completed is accurate as possible. The specific background credentials that each caregiver has to pass is listed in the Caregogi Scoring Matrix. If you have any questions regarding the background check process, please contact J.D. What does Caregogi do to protect my information?
A:

Caregogi works with our software development company, Savvior, to keep your information secure. Through Savvior we have security measures such as Cross-Site Scripting detection, ReCaptcha, and honeypots built-in to the software.We additionally partner with Expedient through our hosting with Savvior. They utilize Arbor Networks at all their connection points to mitigate DOS attacks that would make Caregogi vulnerable.

How do I report a concern to Caregogi?
A:

The best way to report a concern is by submitting a message on our contact us page. All reported issues will be looked into and addressed within 48 hours.

What does Caregogi cost?
A:

Caregogi has three subscription options so you are able to choose a plan that best suits your needs. Details regarding the subscriptions are available on our pricing page. Please note that all subscriptions are for a three month membership, and the monthly fee will be billed up front before allowing you access to our site.

Q:
How do I change my subscription?
A:

You can upgrade your account at any time with Caregogi. Simply go into your options menu and select the “Subscriptions” tab. From there you can change your subscription however you would like. Please note that because our subscriptions are billed in three month memberships, a downgrade will go into effect at the end of your initial subscription. Account upgrades will go into effect immediately, and will only charge you for the difference between the account types.

Q:
I no longer need care, how do I cancel?
A:

You can cancel your account at any time with Caregogi. Just go into your options menu and select the “Subscriptions” tab.You will see at the bottom of your current subscription plan that there is the option to cancel. You will be prompted to take a two question exit survey when you cancel, so that we can improve our service for future users. If you cancel before your three month subscription is up, you will still have access until the end of your membership period.
